The Concorde Metro station was already under construction when the architectural firm of Martin Marcotte Beinhaker commissioned Joseph Skaff, then a senior architect with the firm, to design all the interior architectural details.

The challenge was great, because as the work progressed, I had to keep up with the technical team of several architects, technicians, engineers and construction supervisors in addition to designing all the details related to, among other things, the platform lighting fixtures, glass elevator shafts, railings, screens and walkways found in this Concorde Metro station.”
